About Youth Assistance... The proceeds from Oxford's 10th Annual Rural Pearl of a Ride benefit Oxford-Addison and Orion Youth Assistance. These volunteer-driven, non-profit groups organize events, oversee mentoring programs and distribute funds to help our area's at-risk youth build skills, gain confidence and curtail negative influences. All funding for Youth Assistance programs comes from fund-raising events like the Rural Pearl of a Ride, contributions from individuals and groups, and grants. Be a Volunteer... If you live in or near Oxford, Addison Township, or Lake Orion, consider volunteering for Youth Assistance.
